[Full] W1 - How Mindfulness Meditation can Improve One's Productivity and Creativity
ENGLISH
Workshop

The workshop will mainly focus on promoting and explaining the importance of your mental health. For example, the benefits of taking care of your mental state, and the consequences of not doing so. We will be focusing on how meditation can boost one's productivity and creativity, which enhances work performance and problem-solving skills. To make things more convincing and easier to understand, we would also introduce some basic brain science knowledge, so as to explain how our mental health can be affected. Afterwards, we would introduce meditation to our audiences, as a tool to achieve a better mental state and the benefits that follow. Lastly, we would provide a 30-minute meditation trial for our participants, so that they can experience the power or effectiveness of meditation.

[Full] S4 - Obstacles to Innovation: The Case for EQ and Sensemaking
CANTONESE
Presentation

Innovations either come from employees or are implemented by them. However, a lot of the time, employees resist innovation because that involves change. By using a scientifically valid instrument to measure EQ through 15 subscales under five composites (Self-Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making, Stress Management), organisations can better identify what stops employees from being more innovative. After coaching over 100 executives in Hong Kong using the EQi-2.0 instrument, this experience sharing session will discuss how to better introduce change and innovation in organisations.

S6 - MPF Digitalisation: A Winning Formula for Employers
CANTONESE
Presentation

In order to keep abreast of the latest technological developments, with a view to enhancing the efficiency of the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) System, the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA)’s key focus area in the next few years is to put in place a digital platform to reform the existing mode of operation of the MPF System. Converting the MPF System to a digital model operated under a single platform will benefit all users including employers, human resources practitioners, as well as MPF scheme members. To pave the way for the launch of the eMPF Platform, the MPFA is striving to encourage the wider adoption of electronic means for MPF transactions amongst employers and employees.

In the presentation, Mr Wan, General Manager of the eMPF Project Office of the MPFA will share the features and benefits of the major existing electronic services provided by trustees and the future platform.
